Run Sandymoor Summer Fair:
⭐️ Thank you to Karren Bannon, Mel Dua and Rio Monks for their efforts running the stall on Saturday and for promoting our wonderful running club. Also a shout out to all those that supported the stall throughout the afternoon. Teamwork!
Race for Life Pretty Muddy 5K:
⭐️ Kate Shannon
Cross Cymru (East to West):
⭐️ Dec Murphy (48 miles / 77km in about 13 hours)
⭐️ Dec Murphy performed yet another one of his personal challenges, which was to run the width of Wales from the Eastern border. Dec had a few challenges on the way with regards to the route, but he finally completed his 48 mile challenge in about 13 hours.
⭐️ However, the not so good part was the £120 taxi fare back to Dec's parked car! Then it got even worse when having driven for two hours, the police accidentally used a stinger on Dec's car whilst on the M56, resulting in four flat tyres! Dec finally got home sometime after 2am! We certainly can call that an eventful day.
