Sessions

We have sessions to suit all abilities throughout the week. All runs are muster runs and no one will be left behind!  Our runs start from Sandymoor High School (Sandymoor Ormiston Academy) and are lead by a UK Athletics trained run leader.

6:30 pm Monday – We have 5 different groups with the main aim of catering for all abilities.

Group 1 – 6+ miles non-stop run with mustering which caters for runners aiming to keep a pace between 7:30 and 8:30 min miles.

Group 2 – 6+ miles non-stop run with mustering which caters for runners aiming to keep a pace between 8:30 and 9:30 min/miles.

Group 3 – 5 to 6 miles non-stop run with mustering which caters for runners aiming to keep a pace 9:30 – 10:30 min/miles.

Group 4 – 4+ miles non-stop run with with mustering and walk breaks if required, which caters for runners aiming to keep a pace 10:30 and 11:30 min/miles.

Group 5 – 3+ miles run with mustering and walk breaks if required which caters for runners aiming to keep a pace 11:30 +.

6:30 pm Wednesday – All inclusive session with a mixture of…. *

The First Wednesday of every month 6:30PM Hill Session. A route is mapped by the designated run leader and will involve running up and down the hills in and around Sandymoor!

*The Wednesday All Inclusive session is replaced by a Tuesday Track Session every third Tuesday of the month at Wade Deacon High School, Widnes.

6:30 pm Thursday – A route is mapped by the designated run leader usually between 4-6 miles. Plenty of mustering within the group and the occasional breather.

6:30 am Friday – The early bird run Is usually between 4-5 miles but is mutually agreed by attending runners on the morning.

9 am Saturday –  Members attend one of the local Park Runs to either take part or volunteer! Some even travel further afield!

9am Sunday –  This session is the social Sunday morning run! Its a chance to have a chilled out session and meet up with members who span the various groups we have! The distance is usually between 4-6 miles.
