Runna parkrun Championships partnership:
⭐️ A massive thank you to Daniel Shannon for successfully gaining Runna as our parkrun Championship partner for this year!
⭐️ The male and female parkrun Championship winners will win a six month free subcription to the Runna app, which has proven to improve those that have already used it. It has already recieved some postitive feedback.
⭐️ Club members may access the Runna app for a two week free trial. However, I shall not publish the access code here within a public space. Please see the Run Sandymoor post for the code or message Daniel Shannon or myself whom will be pleased to share it with you.
Bank Holiday Club Runs:
⭐️ Our Bank Holiday Club Runs will all be at 9:00am.
⭐️ Combined groups 1 & 2 will meet at the Costa Coffee car park in Runcorn at 9:00am.
⭐️ Combined groups 3 & 4 will meet at Picow Farm Road near to Runcorn Railway Station at 9:00am.
⭐️ Group 5 will meet as usual at Sandymoor School at 9:00am.
Naked 5K Event (no watches or phones etc.):
⭐️ On Tuesday evening at Victoria Park in Widnes at 18:30, we will be hosting our next pop-up, which will be the naked 5K event. This means that you will run without any technology, so that you do not know your time or your pace. In advance, you will predict the time that you think you'll finish the 5K distance and the person who gets closest to their predicted time will be announced as the winner! It's that simple! And anyone can win it!
Please select the link below and then select "Going" along with a comment that indicates your predicted finishing time: https://facebook.com/events/s/naked-5k/650481001220372/
